Indications for Use

The Concentric Balloon Guide Catheter is indicated for use in facilitating and guidance of intravascular catheters into a selected blood vessel in the peripheral and neuro vascular systems. The balloon provides temporary vascular occlusion during these and other angiographic procedures.

Description

The Concentric Balloon Guide Catheter is a 7F coaxial lumen braided shaft, variable stiffness catheter with a radiopaque marker and flush-mounted balloon on the distal end. It has an inner diameter of 0.059 inches, a maximum balloon inflation diameter of 10 mm, and a maximum inflation length of 10 mm. The device incorporates the new material Cristamid, with all other characteristics remaining the same as the original 9F version.
